Returns and Refunds Policy

Wiring Harnesses Australia are committed to providing excellent customer service and we understand that there are a number of reasons that you may need to return items to us.

Before you return any items, please contact us to request a Returns Number and instructions. Time limits for returns are listed under each heading below.

To process your return, we require an invoice number or proof of purchase. Items without a proof of purchase will not be accepted. Items must be returned unused and in the same condition that you received it including the original packaging.

Non-returnable items

Items that are made to order, assembled to order or special orders are non-returnable. These items include but are not limited to:

  • Wiring harnesses
  • Braided harness rolls
  • Cut to length wire
  • Printed wire
  • Some field kits

If your item is one of the above items and is faulty or incorrect, please contact us to talk to one of our technical team. We will review the information provided at the time of order and assess whether the item is faulty or incorrect.

Incorrect item received

If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, the item is not what you ordered or items are missing, we will supply the correct or missing items to you at our cost. We may also provide you with instructions to return the incorrect items to us at our cost.

Claims for incorrect, damaged or missing items must be made within 48 hours of delivery of the items. If we have requested that items be returned to us, you must return these items within 7 days of receiving return instructions. Failure to return items in this timeframe may result in the items being invoiced to you.

If the correct items can’t be supplied within a reasonable timeframe, we will provide you with a refund for an amount equal to the purchase price of the items.

Wiring Harnesses Australia does not pay any other compensation for the supply of incorrect items.

Faulty or damaged items

All items come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

If you consider your item to be faulty, please contact us as soon as you become aware of the suspected fault and we will guide you through the process of having the fault rectified. We may require you to return the item to us for inspection and testing to determine the nature and extent of the fault. If an assessment finds the item to be faulty, we will either repair or replace the item or, in the event of a major problem we may offer you a refund.

We understand that time is a critical issue for many of our customers and always make an effort to be flexible in finding a mutually workable solution for any suspected faults.

Change of mind

Due to the sensitive nature of our component parts, returns for change of mind will not be accepted. Please choose your items carefully.
